This makes the Food Number Index an extremely useful aid to link foods in the different publications. An appendix links the old 4th Edition with new 5th Edition food numbers only where a direct correlation occurs, but does not include food names. The Food Number Index provides users with a single collection and link up list of food numbers and directs them to the latest data set.
